Report on the 4th Congress of Foreign Researchers of Polish History. Cracow, 19-22 October 2022

Abstract

The article presents reports from three sections organised as part of the 4th Congress of Foreign Researchers of Polish History, providing a forum for the exchange of experiences of researchers from different countries of the world involved in the study of Polish history. The event took place in Cracow on 19-22 October 2022. First, a panel devoted to institutions supporting, promoting and disseminating research on Polish history and cultural heritage is described. This is followed by a brief description of the doctoral panel, the subject of which oscillated around the clash of cultures on the example of Polish emigration. The archival section is presented last, during which it was possible to see the prospects for the development of archival science and records management in the various countries (e.g. Estonia, the Netherlands).
